About Calendar Machine

Your district has mandated that your students be exposed to information (multicultural, ethnical diversity, gender equity, world celebrations and events, etc.) or perhaps you know that you have a substitute coming, or need to fill a Friday afternoon with something exciting.

Calendar Machine PLUS was designed with two specific goals. The first was to develop a program that allows teachers and students to create or modify calendars. The second was to be a source of materials for teachers to use each school year.

Each program contains:

    • a yearly calendar with over 900 grade level events
    • over 450 printable lesson plans, activity sheets, resource sheets, posters, science experiments, art projects, Internet Information Hunts, and much more.
Calendar Machine Plus, Primary
A simple-to-use software program that addresses all your needs. Create calendars, print out classroom materials, or use as a handy resource. The program comes with more than 450 lesson plans and reproducibles connected to hundreds of events and holidays throughout any year. Also includes more than 900 searchable events. Included are sheets that introduce each letter of the alphabet in either Spanish or English, and other activities that are specifically designed for younger students such as Opposites Day, Hat Day, and International Clown Week.
Calendar Machine Plus, grades 3-8
A simple-to-use software program that addresses all your needs. Create calendars, print out classroom materials, or use as a handy resource. The program comes with more than 450 lesson plans and reproducibles connected to hundreds of events and holidays throughout any year. Also includes more than 900 searchable events. Included are resource and activity sheets on each state in the United States, and other activities that are specifically designed for older students such as the Berlin Airlift, The Yellowstone National Park, and Perigee and Apogee.
 

System Requirements

Macintosh: PowerPC processor-based Macintosh computer, at least 32 MB of RAM (64 highly recommended), Mac OS 7.5.5 or later.

Windows: Pentium-based PC or compatible computer, at least 16 MB of RAM (32 recommended), Windows 95/98, Windows NT 4.0., or Windows 2000.
