This product was designed with two specific goals. The first was to develop a program that allows teachers and students to create or modify three types of time lines. The second was to be a source of materials for teachers to use about each specific historical period.

Each program contain:

    • a time line with over 900 historically accurate events
    • specific time lines that cover periods of history such as The Middle Ages, or the Civil War
    • over 450 printable lesson plans, activity sheets, resource sheets, posters, science experiments, art projects, Internet Information Hunts, and much more
Timeline Machine Plus U.S. History
Covers events from early exploration to the present including the first settlers, the Declaration of Independence, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Great Depression, and more. The program includes 450+ lesson plans and reproducibles; each connected to events and holidays throughout each period of history.
Timeline Machine Plus World History
Includes time lines beginning with the fall of Rome to the present, with specific curriculum areas covering the Dark and Middle Ages, The Crusades, the Ottoman Empire, the Renaissance period, Africa and the slave trade, the 1700s and 1800s, and the Age of Reason to post-1900 history including World Wars I and II and the Cold War. The program includes 450+ lesson plans and reproducibles; each connected to events and holidays throughout each period of history.
Timeline Machine Plus Ancient Civilizations

Students learn about the events that occurred from the Ice Age to the fall of Rome. Other specific time lines cover prehistory, the Fertile Crescent, Mesopotamia, ancient Greece, ancient Egypt, ancient Europe, the Far East, the Indus Valley and India, the Persian Empire, Aegean civilizations, early China, the Vikings, and more. The program includes 450+ lesson plans and reproducibles; each connected to events and holidays throughout each period of history.

 

System Requirements

Macintosh: PowerPC processor-based Macintosh computer, at least 32 MB of RAM (64 highly rec.), Mac OS 7.5.5 or later.

Windows: Pentium-based PC or compatible computer, at least 16 MB of RAM (32 rec.), Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows 2000.
